My weeklong vacation is coming to an end—and oh, what a ride it’s been!
Day 1 – Saturday
Shopping and lunch with Mom. Windjammer’s blueberry chicken wings! 🫐 The best! We hit a few shops and even stumbled upon a couple of garage sales.
Day 2 – Sunday
Bruce’s garden walk. He entertained the town of Irondequoit with his incredible artwork and beautiful garden he and Mom have created. Pure magic!
Day 3 – Monday
Dave and I hit the road to Erie, PA to see Teddy Swims—and in one word: AMAZING! We were in the pit, right up front, and all I can say is… I was in total awe of his live show. 🤩 Thank you, Dave, for the best birthday gift!
Day 4 – Tuesday
We said goodbye to PA and made our way to the Adirondacks to visit Mike, Sand, my nephews, and Pops. We took the scenic route with perfect weather—70s and sunny—and after 9 hours, we arrived at Rainbow Lake for four days of family time: swimming, sunning, laughing, canoeing, and a little trip to Lake Placid for dinner and shopping. Did I mention the maple ice cream? 🍨 Heaven.
All in all, it was a truly special vacation. I'm spending my last day of vacation starting this blog—my very first one. So, bear with me as I learn the ropes. I hope this space brings you a little joy and a few smiles. At the very least, just know… I’m so happy you’re here. 💛
It was a fantastic vacation! I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself!
